my radiator is using up all the coolant, or its go...

my radiator is using up all the coolant, or its going somewhere? it overheated once and the gauge worked and went to red. now the gauge stays at 200 on or off. also the radiator does not get to hot anytime, cap is cool to touch after driving, recently put a new water pump, radiator, and thermostat.
