I had a transmission put in my 1997 Dodge Ram and...

I had a transmission put in my 1997 Dodge Ram and the transmission place" jumped started" the starter- and let me pick up the truck without telling me the truck will not start. What can I do to get the alarm to work again? Please help-thanks.
