0 New battery . When ignition switch is turned to start position dash lights go off but none of the other lights dim or go off

0 New battery . When ignition switch is turned to start position dash lights go off but none of the other lights dim or go off it seems like the control box is not allowing the car to start after using the remote button to unlock the vehicle
