RF520-LCD was installed with door lock actuators in April 2007. The driver-door actuator failed and was repaired approx. 2 months ago and has failed again. The alarm has now failed and does not activate at all. I checked the fuse box on the truck and could find no open fuses. The local shop that installed this system does not support alarms any more. Vehicle info: 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, 2WD, standard bed, standard cab. 5.7L V8.

0 Got no help from the original installers; they dropped alarms from their business. Discovered an inline fuse under the dash that kept blowing, likely the result of installation without using the proper fuse jack. I've got a temporary fix in place but will need to replace the jack soon. Found another shop to replace the door actuator to the tune of $55. The original one is made mostly of plastic with nylon guides, and a single screw attaching the mechanism to the door lock. The plastic disintegrated in the AZ heat; I'm surprised it lasted 2 years and expect the other door actuator to fail sometime soon. The replacement is mostly metal with 3 screws attaching the actuator to the lock; looks pretty rugged and should hold up well.
