Fitting the wheel
– Clean the contact surfaces on the wheel
and hub.
– Put on the wheel. Tighten the wheel nuts.
– Lower the car so that the wheel cannot
rotate.
– Tighten the wheel nuts crosswise. It is
important that the wheel nuts are tight-
ened properly. Tighten to 130 Nm. Check
the torque with a torque wrench.
– Put on the wheel cover (steel rim).
WARNING
Never crawl under the car when it is raised
on the jack.
Passengers must leave the car when it is
raised on the jack.
Ensure that passengers wait with the car -
or preferably a crash barrier - between them
and the road.
