Lowering a load
Maintaining the
Farm Jack
WARNING: When using tools, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury.
Step 1. Put the handle in the upright position before tripping the re-
versing latch to lower the load.
Step 2. Place the reversing switch in the down position.
Step 3. Slowly pump the handle to lower the load.
Note: To lower loads one raised level at a time, the jack must be
loaded with 110 lb (50 kg) or more. Otherwise, the lifting nose
will drop.
Keep the jack clean and oiled. The front and back of the rail must
be kept rust free.
If any part of the jack fails, do not use until it is completely repaired
and checked by a professional.
