Lowering a load
Maintaining the
Farm Jack
WARNING: When using tools, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury.
Step 1. Put the handle in the upright position before tripping the re-
versing latch to lower the load.
Step 2. Place the reversing switch in the down position.
Step 3. Slowly pump the handle to lower the load.
Note: To lower loads one raised level at a time, the jack must be
loaded with 110 lb (50 kg) or more. Otherwise, the lifting nose
will drop.
● Keep the jack clean and oiled. The front and back of the rail must
be kept rust free.
● If any part of the jack fails, do not use until it is completely repaired
and checked by a professional.
