Battery Installation

This vehicle requires six "D" (LR20) alkaline
batteries (not included) for motorized use.

• Insert six "D" (LR20) alkaline batteries as indicated in
the battery compartment.
• Fit the battery compartment cover over the batteries.
Make sure that the TOP of the cover is at the top and
that the four tabs on the sides of the cover are aligned
with the slots in the base of the motor assembly.

• Apply light pressure to the battery compartment
cover and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.

• Stand the vehicle body up on its back end.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door
with a Phillips screwdriver. The screws will remain in
the door.
• Push in on the sides of the battery compartment cover
near the bottom and lift to remove the cover.
