Installation Options
The system has many options that may require extra parts and
labor. Some of the possibilities are listed here.
Delayed accessory output (DAO): This system provides an out-
put whenever the ignition is turned off. This output can be used
to keep the radio or power windows on when the ignition is
turned off. Opening and closing a door automatically turns the
output off.
Domelight supervision: The vehicle’s interior domelight can be
configured to illuminate for 30 seconds after the alarm is dis-
armed. If the system is rearmed during that 30-second period, the
domelight supervision will terminate until the alarm is disarmed
once again.
Progressive unlocking: In most cars with electric power door
locks, the system can be configured so that when disarmed, only
the driver’s door unlocks. A second press of the disarm button
within 15 seconds of disarming unlocks the other doors.
Stereo or sensor on/off: The system provides outputs that can be
used to turn a stereo or sensor on and off via the remote.
